HELP WANTED

City of Williamsburg – Seasonal Summer Employment

 

The City of Williamsburg Public Works Department is looking for seasonal summer help.  Applicants must be at least 16 years old and hold a valid driver’s license. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and operate commercial lawn mowing equipment.  Knowledge of sports fields and equipment is highly recommended. Work schedule is dependent on weather conditions and hourly wage will be dependent upon experience.  Applications are available at City Hall, 210 W State St; along with more detailed job description. The City of Williamsburg is currently seeking to fill the following positions:

Aquatic Center/Pool

Assistant Manager

Head Cashier

Lifeguards

Swimming Lesson Instructors

Concession Stand

Assistant manager will start at $10.00 per hour, Head cashier will start at $11.00 per hour, Lifeguards will start at $7.75 per hour, Swim lesson instructor will start at $13.00 per hour, Concession stand workers will start at $7.25; all positions may be increased based upon qualification. All employees must be at least 14 years of age to work in the concession stand and 15 years of age for lifeguarding and swim lesson instructor. Head cashier and Assistant manager must be at least 18 years of age. Applications can be picked-up at city hall or printed off the city website (https://williamsburgiowa.gov/). Pool Manager

The City of Williamsburg is currently seeking a pool manager for the upcoming season. Applicant must be responsible, have a great communication, organized, able to multi-task and at least 18 years of age. Starting wage will be $15 per hour, but may be increased based upon qualification. Certifications must be obtained if not already secured. Applications can be picked-up at city hall or printed off the city website (https://williamsburgiowa.gov/). Applications are due April 17, 2020, by 4 p.m. to city hall.
